The below is a translated poem which was originally in Arabic. Access the original Arabic poem here.
Oh Eid, in you justice takes pride
Through you the Ummah of justice attained its hopes
And the mouths of truth smiled
And the eyes of oppression drowned in tears.
The universe heard a verse,
That was recited by Ahmed, the Chosen one
A verse that made the Qur’an complete
And through it Islam was made perfect.
When the Prophet stood on the howdah
He raised the hands of the defender of Islam
He said that this is Ali
So trust Ali, as Ali is the successor of Taha.
Tell the absent this message on my behalf
And don’t deny what I have just told you
This message is not from me
but from Allah and I would never disobey my Lord.
The poem above was written by Sayyed Muhammad Al-Attar, please recite Surah Al-Fatiha for his soul.
